Shapes

Any shape. Any size.

Bring your own shape or start from one of ours: the maze fills any silhouette you give it, on five cell grids, at anything from a few cells a side to five hundred.

Mazedly is a free browser studio for designing, sharing, and remixing mazes — start from a blank grid or fork anyone’s public maze, then export it print-ready as PNG, SVG, or PDF.

Five cell grids

Square, diamond, triangle (delta), hex (sigma), and hex-flat topologies — each a true grid, not a skin.

Your own shapes

Upload a logo, a letter, or a leaf; the maze fills exactly that silhouette, joining disconnected regions first.

2 to 500 a side

From a quick warm-up to a wall-sized labyrinth, with crosses, loops, and long-passage options.

Unicursal mode

Single-path labyrinths for square and diamond grids — one way in, one way through.

Every maze is built from a seed, so the same recipe always rebuilds the same maze. Pick a grid, set the size, add a shape if you want a custom outline, and the generator does the rest — the same way, every time.

Your own shapes are read straight from the image you upload: transparent pixels, white-on-dark, or dark-on-light all work, and disconnected active regions are joined before the maze is carved so the result is always solvable.

Make your first maze in 60 seconds.
